Sathya Sai Baba declared His Avatarhood on October 20, 1940 by casting a bunch of jasmine flowers that on falling to the ground, formed the Telugu words, ‘Nenu Saibaba’, meaning “I am Sai Baba”. This was in reference to His previous incarnation as the Sai Baba of Shirdi. The loving God not only has descended upon this planet but also has graciously declared to all of us of His presence, so we make best use of his presence and enjoy divinity.

Marking 75 years of Bhagawan’s Avatarhood, the celebrations in Greensboro were spectacular. Our regional President, brother Gnanabhaskar addressed the gathering of over 140 devotees and urged everyone to consider it a blessing even to be able to congregate in the name of God. He went on to avow the magnificence of Sai and immersed one and all in the divine glory.

Vibrant devotional singing interspersed the program throughout the day. A group activity to brainstorm the Lord’s mission and our role in it, was very well received by one and all. The SSE kids with all their tender love made a musical offering to Bhagwan.
