Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Om Sri Sai Ram.
I am writing to update you on the humanitarian relief work being done by the SSIO in Italy, after the major earthquake of 24th August 2016.
As you may know, the quake caused hundreds of deaths, widespread destruction and general havoc. Leaders of the SSIO in Italy have met with the Italian government authorities on 21st September 2016 to discuss how we can best serve the victims of the natural disaster. The SSIO Disaster Relief Committee is monitoring the situation in coordination with the local Sathya Sai organisation to assist our displaced brothers and sisters. The SSIO Humanitarian Relief website also provides updates about on-going relief activities in Italy, and opportunities for participation in these relief efforts.
Let us all pray together to Swami to shower His divine blessings on those afflicted by the natural disaster.
